Brian Gill Partner
Brian Gill is a co-founding Partner of Artis Capital. Prior to the formation of Artis Capital, Mr. Gill was a co-founding Managing Director of Kalorama Realty Capital, a predecessor company to Artis Capital. Before forming Kalorama, Mr. Gill was an Associate Director at Cushman & Wakefield, where his transaction volume exceeded $500 million. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Gill acquired and financed over $150 million in multifamily properties at Bonaventure Realty Group, where he rose from Analyst to Vice President. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Real Estate at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and has also taught MBA at George Washington University. Mr. Gill holds Masters' degrees in Business and Economics from Northwestern University and the London School of Economics and a BA from the University of South Florida.
Sam Glass Partner
Sam Glass is a co-founding Partner of Artis Capital. Prior to the formation of Artis Capital, Mr. Glass was a co-founding Managing Director of Kalorama Realty Capital, a predecessor company to Artis Capital. Previously, Mr. Glass was an early employee at FCP, a national real estate investment company that has invested in and financed more than $12 billion in assets. At FCP, Mr. Glass worked directly for the founding Managing Partners, with responsibilities including financial projections, asset management, investor relations, acquisitions, and capital events (dispositions and re-financings). Before joining FCP, Mr. Glass was an Investment Analyst with The World Bank's Pension Investments Department, where he focused on limited partnership investments and co-investments with sponsors of private equity and real estate investment funds. Mr. Glass' prior experience also includes two stints at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in investment banking and real estate principal investing, respectively. Mr. Glass received an MBA from Columbia Business School and BA from Yale University.

Stanley Chin
Stanley Chin is Group CEO and Principal for Treasure Capital Asia, a real estate private equity firm based in Hong Kong. Before establishing Treasure Capital Asia, Mr. Chin oversaw the Greater China region for real estate investment management and development company Portman Holdings from 2011 to 2014. Prior to joining Portman, Mr. Chin served as Director and Lead Fund Manager of Pan Asian Real Estate Funds at Henderson Global Investors, where he was involved in the successful launch of the China Designer Outlet Mall Fund. Mr. Chin earned a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and holds Chartered Financial Analyst ("CFA") and Chartered Accountant ("ACA") designations.
John White
John White advises Artis Capital and focuses on helping create digital marketing programs and design capital raising initiatives for closely held private companies. Mr. White started his high-tech career with NCR as an account executive selling mainframe computers. In 1975 he joined Silicon Valley-based firm Zilog, a leader in the emerging microprocessor market, as an Area Sales Manager. In 1980 Mr. White founded Destek, one of the first companies to develop Local Area Network (LAN) software and hardware technologies. As Chief Operating Officer for Chancellor Computer, which pioneered the use of an IBM personal computer as an electronic CAD/CAE workstation, he guided the company through an IPO. Later, Mr. White founded Electronic Design Information Systems (EDIS), a developer of digital libraries for electrical engineers, ultimately acquired by Ziff-Davis. Over the course of his career, Mr. White has worked in a variety of start-up and emerging high-tech firms engaged in a variety of technologies, including artificial intelligence, video compression, free space optics, and Web-based AI diagnostic systems. For the past twelve years, he has maintained a business development practice, helping companies design and refine their financing and marketing strategies. Mr. White majored in Aviation Technology and minored in Business at Western Michigan University.
